The Daily Driver is a 10 inch hand-spun pan with a hot-formed ergonomic handle. This version elevates the handle design with the addition of a hand-forged finial.
The Daily Driver is the perfect skillet for cooking eggs every morning. It is much lighter and more responsive than traditional cast iron, but seasons, cook, and clean the same way. It's heavy enough for great heat distribution but light enough for easy, everyday use. If you choose the bottle opener tab option at checkout, we will forge a tab on the end that turns the handle into a bottle opener!

We take great pride in the form and function of our cookware designs. Our handles are longer and more ergonomic, helping them heat less quickly and fit wonderfully in the hand. Carbon steel contains the same basic elements as cast iron but in different amounts. The major difference is the carbon content of each (cast iron is about 4 percent carbon, while carbon steel is around 0.2%). This makes carbon steel a durable material that's easy to shape which translates into more responsive, lighter cookware with better handle designs!
