Meet your new Daily Driver—a hand-spun carbon-steel skillet made for the meals you cook most often: crisp-edged eggs, bacon, skillet potatoes, seared steaks, smash burgers, and dinner over a campfire.
At 10 inches, it gives you the classic performance of cast iron without the unnecessary bulk. It seasons, cooks, and cleans the same way, but heats up faster, responds quickly when you adjust the flame, and feels noticeably easier to handle from stove to oven to table.
Hand-spun and forged in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies from 99.8% iron—with no synthetic nonstick coating, no PFAS, and no toxic chemicals. This is honest cookware built to get better with age.
Built for everyday cooking
The Daily Driver is named for a reason. It is the pan you will reach for every morning for eggs, then keep out for lunch, dinner, and late-night grilled cheese.
Its lighter carbon-steel construction makes it easy to maneuver one-handed, while still holding enough heat for a beautiful sear and reliable browning. The subtle micro-textured finish gives seasoning something to grab onto, helping your pan develop that dark, naturally slick cooking surface over time.
The long, hot-formed ergonomic handle is designed to feel secure in your hand and stay cooler longer than short, heavy cast-iron handles. It is balanced, comfortable, and made for cooking—not just looking good on a wall.
The optional bottle opener
Want your skillet to have a little extra personality?
Choose the bottle-opener tab option at checkout and we will forge a functional bottle opener into the end of the handle. It is perfect beside the grill, at camp, or whenever dinner turns into a longer evening outside.

Why carbon steel?
Carbon steel contains the same elements as cast iron. The main difference is carbon content. Cast iron contains roughly 4% carbon, while carbon steel is closer to 0.2%.
That difference allows carbon steel to be formed thinner and shaped more precisely. The result is a pan that delivers cast-iron-level durability and searing power in a lighter, quicker, more responsive package—with a longer, more ergonomic handle.
If cast iron care has ever seemed fussy or time-consuming, do not overthink it. Cook in it, wash it, dry it thoroughly, and add a light coat of oil when needed. The more you use it, the better it becomes.
